Dental implants are artificial tooth roots placed into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. Where needed, we use X-rays and further imaging to plan implant positioning safely and accurately.

Implant placement
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic. Most patients find the procedure very manageable.

Healing and final tooth

Does implant treatment hurt?
Placement is carried out under local anaesthetic so you won’t feel pain during the procedure. Some tenderness for a few days afterwards is normal and manageable with standard pain relief.
