Principal Dentist
GDC NUMBER: 170971
BDS | MFDS RCPSG(Glasgow) | Dip Rest RCS(Eng) | MSc Implantology (Distinction) | AssocFCGDent | MFGDP(UK)
With a career spanning over two decades, I began my journey in dentistry by graduating in 2002. Over the years, I have pursued advanced qualifications, including a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) in 2009, a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry (FGDP) in 2018, and culminating in an MSc with distinction in Implantology in 2020.
My professional experience includes working in the maxillofacial department and currently serving as an examiner at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. I specialize in Restorative Dentistry, with a particular focus on occlusion. My expertise extends to diagnosing and treating conditions such as myofascial pain, temporomandibular disorders, parafunction habits (grinding and clenching), and associated chronic headaches and neck pain. I am skilled in performing full-mouth rehabilitations for complex tooth wear cases, as well as offering cosmetic treatments and implants.
Beyond clinical practice, I am deeply committed to helping patients overcome dental anxiety and phobia, and I am honoured to have patients who travel long distances to see me.
Outside of dentistry, I am blessed with a loving family – a happy marriage and two wonderful children. In my leisure time, I enjoy exploring new cuisines, painting alongside my daughter, and sharing in my son’s musical interests.
I look forward to welcoming you to our practice and providing you with exceptional care tailored to your needs.
